StarEvents provides an incredible array of opportunities for artisans, merchants, non-profit groups, local businesses, and others to showcase their products and services to thousands of attendees. Our special events provide an affordable outlet to put your business in front of thousands of potential customers each event weekend.

The definitions below provide a guide to ensure you are downloading the proper forms. If you submit the improper application, we will return it. This can sometimes cause a problem with deadlines and getting accepted. Please submit the proper application.

Artisan:

An artisan (from Italian: artigiano) is a skilled manual worker who crafts items that may be functional or strictly decorative, including furniture, clothing, jewelry, household items, and tools.

Merchant:

A merchant is an entity who trades in commodities that he didn’t produce himself, in order to earn a profit.

Merchants can be of two types: 1. A wholesale merchant operates in the chain between producer and retail merchant. Some wholesale merchants only organize the movement of goods rather than move the goods themselves. 2. A retail merchant or retailer, sells commodities to consumers.
