We are putting a few controls in place that will limit the number of duplicate items allowed. We will be fair to all that apply, and feel it is important to keep stronger controls over menu items in an effort to improve the quality and competition.

Food vendors will also notice that we are providing a complete package price that includes; tent, counter, electric, and permit fees in the price. This ‘package’ price is to clean up the venue and provide a high quality look to each of our festivals and events.

NOTE: This is a big change… and we will work closely with each accepted participant to ensure that these improvements will work to enhance look, profitability, competition, and the overall experience for all involved.

Outdoor Summer Sanitation information for all Chicago Food Vendors

All outdoor food vendors participating in festivals in Chicago, must take the Outdoor Summer Sanitation course offered by Harold Washington College and The Illinois Restaurant Association. As a convenience to our vendors StarEvents will offer this course twice, once for all of the Taste of Randolph vendors and a second time for all other vendors. These classes will take place between March and April 2012, please check back regularly to reserve your space.

StarEvents will provide ALL food vendor banners for each event.

Vendors must provide menu (four main items and three sides) and pricing no later than 35 days prior to the event.

All menu changes must be made in writing no later than 30 days prior to the event.

All banners must proofed by vendors no later than 30 days prior to the event. No changes or substitutions will be made once the banner has been approved.

Vendors will not be able to tape and or write on the banners. If by chance you run out of something, StarEvents will have white duct tape to cover the item, however, you will not be allowed to mark over the tape.

Vendors may submit company/restaurant logos for the banners no later than 35 days before the event. We will send you more information regarding logos and where and how to submit them in the weeks to come.
