North Side Summerfest – August 18th & 19th 2012, Saturday at noon to 10pm and Sunday at 11am to 9pm.

This years NSS will bring the hot dog to a new level, with local spots dishing out their best interpretation of the classic dog. For those of you with a bigger appetite there will be an amateur hot dog eating contest on Sunday, so donʼt forget your elastic pants!

Neighborhood

NSS is about as much fun as you could safely pack into two days. Located at one of the most highly visible intersections in Chicago at 4000 North Lincoln Avenue, between Irving Park to Byron, just south of Irving Park. NSS takes place in the vibrant and populous North Center neighborhood, featuring world-class dining, shopping and nightlife.

Around 20,000 people make sure this festival ranks as one of Chicagoʼs favorite neighborhood parties. The eclectic NSS talent roster offers a little something for just about every taste. If music is your thing, weʼ have something to quench your musical thirst.

Hot dog eating contest!
