This three-day celebration kicks off the City of Chicago’s festival season. The 17th annual Chicago Mayfest brings in three days of celebration – featuring; Chicago’s BEST Bands, Festival Cuisine, pretzels, beer, and a broad spectrum of super cool entertainment… starting off Friday at 5pm for a VIP Party for Everyone.

Get off the couch and get ready to ROCK! This 3-day festival features Chicago’s finest bands performing throughout the weekend. We offer some incredible food options and ice cold beverages that will ultimately quench your thirst. Ice cold beer, sangria, and other beverages will be available.

We have situated our main stage inside one of the largest tents around. This oversize tent is probably the largest constructed in the City and provides a covered arena that truly ROCKS. The overall venue also features our outdoor beer garden and merchant square. This is where you can enjoy the coming of summer while you quench your thirst and shop at some of the finest local artisans and merchants booths.

Lakeview’s diverse dining, shopping and entertainment options offer a broad appeal to visitors and residents of all ages. This sprawling North Side community, one of Chicago’s largest, is characterized by a vast culinary landscape of cuisines and cultures, and equally plentiful shops and boutiques. Lakeview encompasses two popular districts: Wrigleyville, home of Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs; and Boystown, one of the nation’s largest and most vibrant LGBT communities.

This event benefits the Festival Foundation. Admission to the festival is only $10.

Saturday – Chicago Kids Day is Saturday, May 18th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Chicago Kids Day is a celebration of children’s health and wellness! Our mission is to create a fun and entertaining way to educate and teach kids about health and safety. This family event is a community effort put on by real people who work in the community.

StarEvents has teamed up with Dr. Sarah Weber of Total Balance Chiropractic, the Lake View YMCA and Neighborhood Parents Network to present this one of a kind event geared toward educating kids on health, safety and wellness in a fun and entertaining way!

Bring the whole family and enjoy fun activities, arts & crafts, healthy food, fun, balloons and raffle prizes donated by our amazing sponsors.

Activities include: health and posture screenings, arts and crafts, healthy food, giveaways, kids zumba, kiddie boot camp, and much more. At noon we will honor individuals who have made a difference in our kids lives with a Children’s Empowerment Award, and will present the winners of our Annual Coloring Contest. Sunday – Chicago’s Pet Pageant and Expo, May 19th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

This unique event is presented by Higgins Animal Clinic and provides a great place to have fun with your furry friends.
