We perform mostly in Wisconsin and would like to get into Illinois more. I noticed that most of your bands appeal to the rock crowd, but your website banner is for "community events", which includes older people (and kids). Our trio Dangerous Folk appeals to the over 50 group that prefers listenable music to volume, which we hope still has a place at festivals. I also do festivals solo (www.davidhbdrake.com)and will be performing for the entire Chicago tall SHips event at Navy Pier this August. I run a performer's cooperative that has other music, storytelling, and family-stage programs that includes a ready-made "Family Tree" event. (www.organicarts.info) Anyhow, I'm always looking for new ways to find gigs! If you haven't received out SonicBids EPF I'd be glad to send it and/or physical CDs, promotion, and such. Happy Summer!
