Cold beer, live music, and local artists and restaurants lining the streets. Who else misses summer festivals? We know we do!
Although almost all events are canceled in 2020, there is a good chance they will make a comeback in 2021. Scientists predict that a vaccine may become available early next year: according to the New York Times, 23 vaccines are already onto human trials, including those made by Moderna, BioNTech, and Translate Bio. In fact, the CEO of Pfizer, Inc. says that he is aiming to have a finished vaccine available by January 1, 2021. With all of this said, it is looking more and more optimistic that summer festivals will be able to happen in 2021. Which event are you looking forward to the most?
What are some ways we can ensure that festivals will happen next year? Wear your mask everywhere you go. Wash your hands regularly. Stay at home if you are feeling any COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, fatigue, and loss of smell or taste. And, of course, social distance as much as possible. Next year’s festivals might look a little different, but we’re looking forward to a festival season bigger and stronger than ever!
