Due to the impact of Covid-19, many small businesses have taken a toll. It is with heavy hearts as we say goodbye to the few of many bars and restaurants that have permanently closed in Chicago.
Remember to shop local during this hard and trying time. Shopping locally not only provides jobs for neighbors and opportunities to build relationships with businesses, it also fuels the economic development engine as dollars stay in the community. The impact of shopping locally is bigger than most people realize, and it can be the difference between a restaurant closing in the coming months or being able to stay open through and (hopefully) long after this pandemic has ended.
