This world renowned Christmas musical, adapted from the Charles Dickens novel, is a Chicago tradition and a must see this winter. This year is the 45th annual showing, enjoyed by nearly 2 million theatergoers at Goodman Theater in Chicago. So go join the experience at Goodman theater and enjoy the classic, heartwarming story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Viewings begin this Saturday, November 20th, and run all the way through December.

Home Alone Movie viewing with live symphony
A classic Christmas movie with a fun twist, experience the magic of Kevin McCallister discovering the true meaning of Christmas in Home Alone. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra brings the holiday spirit to life with a live performance of the Home Alone score, while the movie is projected on a screen. Appropriate for all ages, kick off the holiday season with a trip to the symphony. Tickets start at $50-$175, with performances on Nov. 26-27th at 7:30 pm and Nov. 28th at 3:30 pm.

The Nutcracker at Joffrey Ballet
Chicago’s take on the Nutcracker is sure to deliver beautiful music and mesmerizing dancing. Straying from the original story, Christopher Wheeldon’s version showcases Marie and the Nutcracker prince on Christmas Eve at the 1893 World Fair which was held in Chicago. Despite the slightly different story, the caliber of talent remains high- from the dancers, musicians, stage designers and costume designers- an afternoon at the Nutcracker is sure to impress all in attendance. Jingle Ball
For all the pop music fans out there, this event is a must see! Back after an all virtual event in 2020, iHeart Radio’s annual concert is headed to the AllState Arena on December 7th! Featuring some of the biggest names in music, the concert offers music for all to enjoy. Chicago’s lineup includes Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Black Eyed Peas, Saweetie, AJR, Tate McRae, Bazzi and Dixie D’Amelio. FYI, proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test is required for entry. The show begins at 7:30 pm and tickets begin at just $35. Head up to Rosemont for a night of great entertainment!
