A celebration of Chicago pizza! Dedicated to the 10 styles of pizza offered in Chicago. Sicilian, Detroit, Deep-Dish, Tavern, Stuffed and Artisan are just a few of the styles that were featured at this delicious event. A prestigious list of 40 pizza makers were curated by Steve Dolinsky, author of “Pizza City USA” and “The Ultimate Chicago Pizza Guide”; Host/Producer of the “Pizza City” podcast, and Founder of Pizza City USA Tours.
A series of educational seminars were also held both days, including The Dough Whisperers, a VIP panel of some of the nation’s most respected pizzaiolos. Seminars included “Women in Pizza”; “Who Really Created Deep-Dish?”; “Making Great Pizza at Home.” and more!
The charitable partner for the Chicago Pizza Festival was Slice Out Hunger.
