The Anti-Cruelty Society’s 30th Annual BARK (formerly BARK in the Park and BARK from the Heart) is Chicago’s oldest dog-friendly fundraiser, uniting over 1,200 dog lovers and supporters who raised $250,000 to bolster the society’s mission. Celebrating 125 years of history, the event featured teams rallying to raise funds amid a morning of camaraderie and shared passion for animal welfare. The festivities commenced with a scenic 2.5-mile walk along Chicago’s lakefront, culminating in a vibrant pup-party at Soldier Field. Attendees enjoyed an array of activities including food, music, family fun, and dog-friendly demonstrations, highlighting the society’s commitment to fostering responsible pet ownership and advocating for animal well-being.
