The Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash is the product of two of Chicago’s most well-respected platforms, joining forces to create a one-of-a-kind event catering to the city’s budding youth movement. Located in the beautiful and spacious Douglas Park, the 2019 edition sold out after quadrupling its size from the inaugural 2018 event. In its third year, the 2021 event will continue to establish itself as the premier festival for hip-hop and young people as a whole AND expand to a three day event to keep up with the demand.
The founding companies, Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX Presents, have both found ways to capture the eyes, ears, and hearts of millennial culture. That influence and spirit have been reflected in Years 1 and 2 of the fest. Come join us as the party continues to grow in Year 3.
