With this excellent news many Chicagoans can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel and soon return back to normal. With some of these restrictions benign lifted that would mean the people can start to attend sporting events and large groups can now gather. Some of the great new things that the city and the CDC are allowing people to is to attend sporting events. This past week the Chicago Cubs had their home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates and fans were allowed to attend with some restrictions. There was only a limited number of fans that were allowed into the stadium to watch the actual game. While still required to wear their masks and follow social distancing guidelines to ensure that they were still following CDC guidelines. Even though there were only a number of people allowed in the stadium many others had gathered outside to enjoy the nicer weather and watch the game from the lawn just outside the stadium. Many also had gone to the local bars around to watch the game and also help out their local small business owners.
Another great spot is on upper rush street. There are so many shops and restaurants around and when the weather gets warmer they start to open up their outdoor seating. This place will have something for everyone whether you are looking for fine dining or tocas from a little mom and pa place. From high end shopping to small owned boutique stands. Whatever you are looking for you will have no problem finding it here.
