This September, Andersonville debuts a brand new festival! Andersonville Homecoming will gather enthusiastic Chicagoans for a weekend filled with live entertainment, local artisans and merchants, and many food and drink vendors available for enjoyment.

Family friendly activities will allow for children of all ages to enjoy a pet parade and face painting, all while appreciating a beautiful September weekend!

There is a suggested donation of $10 with all the proceeds benefiting the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce. The money raised at Andersonville Homecoming goes to support programming and events in community during the rest of the year, including Andersonville Arts Weekend, holiday events, the Sidewalk Sale, and support services to keep incredible local businesses healthy and strong.

For everyone’s safety, the Chamber recommends that all attendees be fully vaccinated within 48 hours of the festival.

 

 

It is a great all around street festival with the local stores, arts and craft, and music.

FROM CTA TRAINS

Andersonville Midsommarfest is located on Clark Street from Catalpa to Summerdale Avenue, only a few blocks from the Berwyn Red Line stop.

FROM CTA BUSES

Coming from the east or west take the 92 bus to Clark and walk North to Summerdale. Coming from the north or south take the 22 bus to Summerdale.

CLOSEST EXPRESSWAY

If you’re planning on driving to the event and on Lake Shore Drive, exit at Foster Ave. and the festival is just one mile west and a couple blocks North at Clark & Summerdale.
