This year’s 3D Artists
Amanda-Lee Harris Gibbs is a Los Angeles-based artist that works in a variety of media. She has recently developed a renewed passion for street art and 3D anamorphic murals. She specializes in creating works of art that are interactive and bright. She owns a business called ‘Wandering Brushes’ where they create custom commissions, murals, and 3D art on walls and more.
Randy Segura is a Colorado native who attended art school in Denver and discovered opportunities in the region. He began his career painting signs and spent five years working as an apprentice for muralist Chris Krieg. He then spent eighteen years as an installer for several local sign companies. In 2014, he opened his own studio where he focused on painting signs, murals, and interactive 3D chalk art. He love’s traveling to different art and chalk festivals across the US to spread his passion for art and create immersive street art for the public.
Holland Winslow resides in Williamsburg, Virginia, and works full-time as a graphic designer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She also runs a small company called “Hollandesigns,” which specializes in murals, street painting, and graphic design. In 2007, Holland began painting on the street. Her “Koi Fish” received Best in Show in 2008, and she has since earned numerous accolades. Holland’s artwork reflects her love of color, which is showcased within her art and the public commissions that she creates.
Zachary Herndon is a chalk artist living in Atlanta whose love of meeting new people and producing art has no bounds. In an effort to support street painting in Georgia, he and Jessi Queen co-founded the GA Chalk Artists Guild in 2014. He creates amazing 3D chalk illusions and is well-known worldwide for his pop art-inspired 2D chalk drawings. Everywhere he goes, his irrepressible enthusiasm makes others grin. Zach has participated in chalk art festivals throughout Europe and the entire country.
This year’s 2D Artists
Heather is coming back to Chi Town from Florida to showcase her skills! From window murals to face painting to canvas and chalk work, Heather displays her true creative nature through an unlimited number of artistic mediums! Heather depicts the essence of holidays, places, feelings, and so much more regardless of the style in which she is creating. As an artist who loves to give back and engage with their community, we are thrilled to provide Heather with a canvas to showcase her work.
Andrew Vickers AKA Andrew The Rose Artist graces the city of Chicago with opportunities for folks to express themselves through art! He is a huge advocate for Chicago’s art scene. He is an art teacher and chalk art group organizer. You can find him hosting meetups where people of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to experience chalk art for themselves.
April Tolliver works as a creative producer at a local broadcast TV station here in Chicago. She grew up around her mother who was an artist as well. They have painted many murals together and since then, April has maintained her relationship with art and can be found in the city drawing city scapes along the lakefront!
Asia Belle, Chicago native, is ready to make her return to Chalk Howard Street this year! Asia discovered her artistic talent in the classroom around age 6 when a teacher accused her mother of completing a drawing assignment for her. However, it was indeed Asia’s work! She dreams of shining light on Chicago figures- visual artists, musicians and beyond- through her artwork.
