Chicago’s Mayfest is the annual kick-off event for our summer festival season. Join us this year as we celebrate our 25th year, and we’ll promise to give you a weekend of endless fun.

Our main stage at Mayfest is set up under a BIG-TOP tent, and features some of the best (ice cold) beer selections & vodka lemonade. This event is known for showcasing some of the best music, entertainment, and festival food in all of Chicago– what could be better? Come out and celebrate summer – Rain or Shine!

Admission is only $10 and tickets can be purchased at the gate (cash only). The venue is conveniently located at Ashland Ave & Barry, in Chicago and the Paulina stop on the Brown Line is only a couple blocks away.

“Mayfest is a nice get together to kick off the summer fest season. The bands are good. I saw Rod Tuff Curls. The drinks were good too. They had some good beers and the sangria was excellent. They had many food choices as well. $10 cover because it;s on private property. Good to go to if you are not too far away.”

Getting to Mayfest

Location

ASHLAND @ BARRY NEAR THE PAULINA BROWN LINE STOP

FROM CTA TRAINS

Mayfest is located at the corner of Ashland & Barry Avenue, closest to the Paulina Brown Line stop, or if you’re coming from the Red Line you can get off at the Belmont stop and walk to the location.

FROM CTA BUSES

The CTA #9 Bus is your best bet if you’re located directly south or north of the Ashland/Barry Avenue intersection in Lakeview. If you’re coming from the west or east, the CTA #77 bus will drop you off closest to Mayfest.

FROM NORTHWEST SUBURBS

Take I-90 towards Chicago all the way until the Addison exit and then make your way to Mayfest by heading west on Addison or Belmont.

FROM SOUTHWEST SUBURBS

Follow I-88 E, I-294 N and I-90 E to N Kimball Ave in Chicago. Take exit 45B from I-90 E and head west on Addison or Belmont until you get to Ashland and then head south to Barry Avenue.
