Event Production, Photography and Videography Intern

The StarEvents Event Production, Photography and Videography Intern will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our online brand. The intern will create, edit, and share video and photo content that is relevant to our customer base to be promoted on our social media, digital media marketing, and website. They will collaborate with the media and marketing team to create compelling and shareable short-form video content. They will use appeal to grab attention and provide information about our company, clients, and events through photo and video. Through creating, editing, and delivering, these photos and videos will allow the intern to learn about media creation works within event production. They should have an understanding of photography and videography, use programs for photo/video editing, marketing, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This position must be able to research, analyze, and implement trends and strategies in the marketing industry. Working directly under the Event Managers, this intern will learn the ins and outs of event marketing, photography, and videography.
OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing/Content Creation
- Keep website up to date with latest event posters and up-to-date information
- Update website with latest photos and videos
- Plan and produce creative assets including video, animation, and graphic design for marketing and communication needs
- Create and manage social media accounts
- Work with Graphic Designer to create fruitful marketing collateral
- Monitor deadlines and creation of assorted marketing campaigns such as digital billboards and social media
- Analyze marketing data and create post-event reports and presentations
- Work with clients and marketing team on personalized marketing plans
- Design and create metrics to measure effectiveness of various marketing
- Event Production
- Manage the main StarEvents email account and respond accordingly
- Manage packing for event and ensure all items are returned to office
- Assist with finalizing event specifications with the direction of the client and Event Manager
- Create timelines for event logistics and assist in map creation
- Work to ensure all vendors are properly registered
- Other duties as assigned

- How to maintain a large-scale, changing, live website
- How to effectively communicate messages to target audiences
- How large scale event marketing and advertising is produced

EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure proper postings and signage at events
- Work with Photographer to take photos and videos at each event that are exciting and relevant to customer base
- Manage Instagram/Facebook story at each event
- Distribute correct maps and lists to help manage set up and break down
- Assist with planning onsite setup for vendors at events
- Create and manage data collection for return on investment of various marketing
- Manage onsite marketing collateral with Event Manager
ELIGIBILITY
- This is a full time position from 9am-5pm Tuesday through Friday

- Must have moderate to advanced understanding of WordPress, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite
- Must possess your own photography and videography equipment, including but not limited to a high-quality camera, lenses, and SD cards
- Extensive understanding on marketing and social media platforms such as Facebook for Business, Twitter, and Instagram
- Demonstrated skills in video and photo editing
- Moderate skills in graphic design
- Able to stand for extended periods and tolerate inclement weather
- Fluency in Spanish preferred (not required)
